Inspired by the rich history that jazz played in the culture of New Orleans, Teri Walker created a collection of iconic jazz instruments out of hot glass for her 2020 collection. This piece features a hand blown clarinet in purple glass with gold detailing and a detachable black metal stand for easy display. 
 
Other items in this collection include colorful clarinets, trumpets and mix media sculptures including metal music barlines with glass music notes, instruments, and musician's hands attached. 
 
Each musical instrument is sculpted out of 2100 degree Fahrenheit molten hot glass and shaped by the artist's hand.
